Our Relief Society Celebration Enrichment Activity is next Thursday, March 26th at 6:30 pm! If you got a "Service Slip" in Relief Society, just be sure to get it back to Chantelle or any of the RS Presidency on Sunday. If you didn't get one, please fill one out. This Week's Lesson:
Our lesson this week was given by the lovely Lindsey Rowe on "Missionary Service: A Holy Calling, A Glorious Work." Wow, it was a powerful lesson with so many real-life experience that she and other sisters shared. We learned that it is a calling for all of us to share the Gospel. We can share it through serving missions, through our example, and through teaching correct principles in our homes. Lindsey encouraged parents to encourage our children to serve missions and to find the desire to share the Gospel. Joseph Smith stated that we should "go forth … in all meekness, in sobriety, and preach Jesus Christ and Him crucified; not to contend with others on account of their faith, or systems of religion, but pursue a steady course. This I delivered by way of commandment; and all who observe it not, will pull down persecution upon their heads, while those who do, shall always be filled with the Holy Ghost; this I pronounced as a prophecy.” Thank you Lindsey for a lesson filled with love and the Spirit.
